About Ana

I don’t have a favorite subject matter or style. I like portraiture, abstracts, narratives, landscapes, comics, and political statements... I like acrylics, oils, watercolors, pencil, charcoal... Generally, my art reflects a phase I am going through in life, or a current interest. In Art, I like to feel free. My two favorite artists are Georgia O’Keeffe and David Alfaro Siqueiros. With Art, I find an outlet to support organizations working to make a positive impact in our world.

As a Mexican American Artist I have spent time learning about cultures in both countries and developing my character and skills through practice and study. My work has been exhibited in some galleries and other venues and featured in great publications.  I have worked for and with very talented artists and learned much from the experiences.  After owning a gallery in Arizona and moving to California, I continue to promote my work online.
